When Rob sent pictures to me I would at times reply and comment that it looked cold, icy, snowy and I did not see a donut shop anywhere? He was always moving into new adventures with curiosity and excitement! I was happy to see that he introduced Henry to the art of climbing and guiding.

Robbie was a true gentleman with a great heart-we have such fond memories, especially telling stories of Hank as he would watch the Italian soccer team in action. When I would visit with Hank on game days, he would have some snacks and he would bring me up to date of Pete’s and Robbie’s exploits with certain concerns of safety etc. Cathy was never questioned about her direction.

Although Hank and I were not religious in practice, as he watched soccer it seemed he almost had spiritual inclinations at times.

Always Hank had love and admiration for the kids and grandkids. The three of you inherited that quality and honoring Rob as a pioneer and artist, is keeping with family traditions.
